“Kimigayo” (Japanese: 君が代?, English: His Imperial Majesty’s Reign) is the National Anthem of Japan.

Lyrics of the Japanese National Anthem are penned by unknown and the Anthem is Composed by Hiromori Hayashi.

The Japanese National Anthem was Adopted on August 13, 1999.

The Japanese National Anthem is a matter of Pride for all Japaneses and it is sung everywhere from Government Offices to Schools and Colleges on specially occasions like Foundation Day – Kenkoku Kinen no Hi on 11 February, Constitution Memorial Day – Kenpō Kinenbi on 3 May, The Emperor’s Birthday – Tennō Tanjōbi on 23 December, etc.
