“Qaumii Salaam” (Maldivian: ޤައުމީ ސަލާމް, English: National Salute) is the National Anthem of Maldives.
Lyrics of the Maldivian National Anthem are penned by Mohamed Jameel Didi and the Anthem is Composed by Pandit Wannakuwattawaduge Don Amaradeva.
The Maldivian National Anthem was Adopted in the year 1948.
The Maldivian National Anthem is a matter of Pride for all Maldivians and it is sung everywhere from Government Offices to Schools and Colleges on specially occasions like Maldives National Day on 24 January, Independence Day on 26 July, Victory Day on 3 November, Republic Day on 11 November, etc.
